NEW IN STORE: KESBEKE DUTCH PICKLES

We’re excited to introduce Kesbeke – authentic, hand-crafted pickles straight from Amsterdam!

This proud Dutch family business started in 1948, just after WWII, in a small cellar near the Waterlooplein. Today, they still prepare their Amsterdam onions, gherkins, and other pickled goods by hand, using traditional methods and honest ingredients.

As Oos Kesbeke says: “Sure, our Amsterdam onions cost a bit more than the cheap brands. But ours are hand-peeled, hand-packed, and made by people earning a fair wage. You can really taste the difference! Besides, a beer on a terrace in Amsterdam costs way more – haha!”

We’ve just introduced the first batch of Kesbeke pickles to our store — and if we can get our hands on more of their delicious products, we definitely will!

Even better: they teamed up with Basiron to create a one-of-a-kind pickled cheese made with Kesbeke’s own pickles. It’s bold, tangy, and absolutely worth a try.
