Dutch Farm Meats Porc Slavink

A staple of the traditional 'AGV' (potatoes, vegetables, meat) dinner in the Netherlands. The vink is a brilliant, old-school butcher's invention designed to keep dinner interesting and flavorful.

It consists of seasoned, hearty ground meat securely wrapped in thin, savory slices of bacon. The bacon crisps up nicely in the pan, while the inside stays rich, juicy, and tender.

Pan-fry them slowly in butter until the bacon exterior is deeply browned and crispy. Serve alongside boiled potatoes and your favorite vegetables, making sure to pour the pan drippings over the top.
